Planned GivingWhat
is Planned Giving?
Planned giving is a statement. Your gift says Yes, I care about my
community and my neighbors and I want to do something meaningful that will make
a difference for others.
You may wish to make your gift in honor of or in tribute to a
family member or other loved one. Your caring gift will not only honor that
loved one, it will support the work of Community Caregivers for
years to come.
Your gift also may provide you or your estate with a significant tax
advantage. The benefits you and your heirs receive will vary, depending on your
circumstances. The choice of what to give and how to give it is yours. What
Kind of Gift Can I Give?
Your gift to Community Caregivers can
be structured in a variety of ways:
Charitable Remainder Unitrust
Gift Annuity Agreement
Provision by Will
Life Insurance Agreement
Life Estate Agreement
Charitable Lead Trust
Revocable Living Trust
Cash or Non-Cash Gifts (securities, property, etc.) What
Should I Do Next?
First, you should advise your attorney of your interest in making a
planned gift to Community
Caregivers, Inc. Your accountant also may be able to provide you with
additional advice and information. In addition, Community
Caregivers will gladly work with you and/or your advisors in planning
your gift.
